I am interested in a wide range of topics in ethics and moral psychology. Currently, I am writing a series of papers exploring alternatives to ethical longtermism. The goal is to develop a perspective that retains longtermism’s moral seriousness about the future while relaxing, or altogether dispensing with, some of its core axiological commitments. I am also working on projects about moral progress and moral learning.
